Normand to Demo SawStop at CHW Show

It’s no secret that we’re fans of the SawStop here at CHW. Our own Michael Kampen has sacrificed a hotdog from his own fridge to see the saw’s safety system kick in. (Actually, it wasn’t much of a sacrifice on the wiener front; it was the saw blade that was wrecked–but that’s a good thing.)

At the Canadian Home Workshop Show this weekend, the good folks at Nomand are promising a demonstration off how the SawStop can prevent serious injury. I’m not sure if it will be the old hotdog test, or something more, such as someone putting his finger on the line.

Whatever the test, I’m keen to see the SawStop in action. I’m not volunteering my finger though. Would you?
